The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission was formed in 1972 to provide a forum for discussion of issues localities have in common, or on which there is disagreement; to work to decrease fragmentation in government; to plan cooperatively for the future; and to provide planning services to local governments as requested. As a public body, the TJPDC strives to include the public in decision-making.

In carrying out its mission the TJPDC shares a large volume of publicly available materials. A collection of committees, commissions, and policy boards meet regularly and must share materials, agendas, minutes related to these meetings efficiently. While following public notice requirement the website acts as a primary vehicle for the distribution of information.

We assisted the TJPDC with organization of content to allow for efficient navigation. The site is compartmentalized by program area and designed to drive traffic to specific content as needed.  Visit: tjpdc.org to view the full website
